Quick Enquiry

Ha ha looks like India has decided to patch up with US on the whole H1B visa issue, which was making much hue & cry since some time now. No matter how much Indians disagreed on the increase in H1B visa fee hike or US made strong statements about curbing immigration; still the largest number of applications for fiscal year 2017 are expected to be again from India.

US H1-B Visa

US has received around 2,50,000 petitions this year in response to the application intake period which was opened on 1 April 2016. Majority of petitions are expected to be from either Indian based companies or companies who have major operations set up in India. In both the scenarios, Indians take an edge over other country nationals.

With this outcome which is against the much anticipated speculations that US & India will no more remain cordial on H1B & other immigration platforms; it is firm that craze of US for Indians cannot be hampered easily and US also will always need to consider India as one of the prospective countries for skilled professionals. May be the break paid off well for both.

PS: if you don't understand the title of this write-up, refer my blog titled "We were on a break". This is like a sequel for that. Sorry, fan of sequels.
